Who We Are
Mark Rhoades(CNA,A+,iNet+,Network+,Server+,MCP,MCSE2000)
Mark has the brains for
running businesses and that's why we are a Rhoades Consulting Company. If not for him, we'd
still be using up all our network resources playing Duke Nukem. Mark has been in the PC
world as long as Bill Gates and does not get in as near as much trouble with the Justice
Department. Mark spent many years developing database applications. Over the past ten
years he has combined that with web development and network implementations. He is very
certified and has recently been teaching the material required to pass network certification
tests to network administrators.
Barry Murry(AAM,A+,i-Net+,Network+,MCP,MCSE2000)
Barry started as a mainframe programmer
and did that for several years until he got bored with COBOL. He then jumped ship for the
networking side of things needing the taste of something new. After learning everything about
networking he started missing the fun of coding applications and has now found an area that
suits him well. That is developing web script applications for Internet and Intranet use.
He also enjoys automating management processes found in the networking world. He believes the
best network administrators are those that started as programmers. Barry also enjoys teaching
others about computers and has several years of classroom experience.
Steve Briggs(CNA, MCP, MCSE2000)
Steve is a champion web site administrator. He manages
many sites on various platforms. He is most knowledgeable of Microsoft's IIS with lots of
knowledge and training in security related to the threats to web sites and web applications.
Steve spends a great deal of time developing and administering web sites of all levels
of complexity. He keeps up with all that's going on in the Security (Hacking) world. Although
there is no doubt that he could, he will not be hacking into your competitor's systems.
Others - Most project are completed solely by the three of us. We do have at our disposal
a few network administrators and programmers available to help us out. These additional
people are close associates and certified in their areas. We do not outsource work. We oversee
any work performed outside our small group to insure it meets our highest standards.
